desire-to-inspire.jpg
This is just a small part of the Easter reading guide @ desire to inspire.

midcenturyjo @ desire to inspire issued an “easter reading guide” in 4 parts last week and I was absolutely thrilled and truly honored to find a thing of beauty… included.

I did not find the time to extensively browse through all the great and inspiring blogs listed there but I sure will, especially since I have not worked on my blogroll yet and was planning to this week-end… Love it when people do the job for you ! (hint hint)

midcenturyjo has been at it before and you can find all her reading guides here.

Desire to Inspire is indeed an inspiring blog - mainly focused on interior decoration - and the work of midcenturyjo & kim - “an Australian and a Canadian trying to inspire the world, one room at a time”.

midcenturyjo also has an Etsy shop.

Rocky Mountains Drawing No. 1 - Limited Edition Print by jaimers @ Etsy.

It probably might not show, but I try to write this blog a bit in the way of “film editing”, which means that I try to find some aesthetic (or thematic) connection between the articles on the main page, so I was wondering what to write to follow - actually precede for you readers - the Appalachian Crafstmen boards and I found this wonderful drawing by Jaime Derringer in my favorites.

There are actually 2 drawings entitled “Rocky mountains” - you can find No. 2 here but this one is really my favorite (although they would certainly look terrific as a pair). The original for No. 2 is still available.

I really love the colors of this one and the fact that the mountains are not centered and there is so much blank space. If you think this is a bit exagerated, just look at the image where it is shown framed and you will see how this is exactly right.

Jaime Derringer is the “bloggeress” behind Design Milk and she also runs an online store called Vitamin D(esign).

Bisous,

Black Polito by Rolito

My first post on this blog was about Black Polito.

We don’t know much more about it, but you can now follow the project on a blog : Black Polito. And as you would have guessed, it is both elegant and beautiful !

And there are still the Black Polito Stickers Gallery as well as the We love Rolito pool on Flickr.
Two pictures I like among them : Red for Rolito by krysto_O and Rolitobleu by Shifty.
